Deutsche Vortex was founded on 1.4.1965 to launch a totally new pump principle onto the market. Thanks to the drive system they use - the patented spherical motor - Vortex domestic water pumps offer significant positive features.

Progressive technology with the most up-to-date production equipment available results in the highest technical standards possible. The certified quality management system was introduced in 1997. We thereby ensure maximum quality of product development, ranging from selection of materials right up to production and logistics.

Production plants, development, administration and sales departments are located in Ludwigsburg.

The manufacturer's agency Hermann Schmidt in Essen represents Deutsche Vortex on the German market. Orders are processed by the plant in Ludwigsburg. Commercial agencies handling warehouse management are responsible for sales within the rest of Europe.

Deutsche Vortex has actively belonged to the GRUNDFOS - Group since 1.1.1999.
